Cindy
It was early spring in 1984, when I helped Cindy step up into my old work van. This was our first date, before I could get the old thing to start I was told two things "I am a mother and I donīt fool around". A few days latter it was time to meet her boys. All 5 of them after hand shake and hug it was off to get a happy meal. At that moment I could see the love she had for her children. She was special and I was in love with her. We got married in the fall. That blond headed spitfire woman from Alabama took me on one wild trip. The road was not always smooth there were some sharp cures, bumps, ups and downs. When the day was done and we laid our head down it was always "I love you" and a kiss good night. After 10 years it was time to make the big move. Utah to Alabama, we never looked back it was full speed ahead. We remodel the house, kids playing football, 4 yellow labs and now doing art shows. As 2008 started Cindy was with me full time on the road doing fine art shows. Mid-summer we were in Chicago; she had some shortness of breathe. By the summer of 09 she was put on oxygen, but still in good spirits. Fall in Alabama means football it was out to the high school to watch our nephew play. We started to talk about next spring, but I had one more show in Texas. When I got back she sat me down held my hand and told me "you need to stay home and be with me". I was by her side till the morning of the 28 of November when our journey together ended. On that cold day the life we started 25 years earlier came full circle. I held her in my arms, gave Cindy a kiss goodbye, and one last "I love you". I can sincerely tell you I know the meaning of true love. Cindy was the love of my life, my inspiration if you had the privilege of knowing my Cindy come and help me with my new journey.

A few days after I lost Cindy. Our BIG yellow Labrador "bobo" Lost his battle with rheumatic arthritis. He was 12 years old. I can still remember the day we got him. He came up to Cindy and tried to eat her shoe she said take this stud home the dog not me. He was a fixture around the shop, he is truly missed. Goodbye old friend
Maggie
On April 7, 2010 we lost our Maggie she was diabetic and had gone blind. Like all labradors she was special and was my friend always and always.
